We are delighted to announce that Axiom is now Good Business Charter and Living Wage Employer accredited.

We strive towards excellence across all aspects of our business, and believe it is important to prove this commitment by being answerable to reputable and unbiased external organisations.

From sustainability through to employee well-being and representation – we want to be the very best we can be, and are grateful to The Good Business Charter and Living Wage Foundation for holding us to high ethical standards.

The Good Business Charter recognises responsible business practices over 10 components crucial to the success of any workplace. These are: real living wage, fairer hours and contracts, employee well-being, employee representations, diversity and inclusion, environmental responsibility, paying fair tax, commitment to customers, ethical sourcing and prompt payments.

The Real Living Wage similarly emphasises the importance of employee wellbeing, and is the only UK wage rate that is voluntarily paid by over 7,000 UK businesses who believe their staff deserve not the minimum wage – but instead, one which meets everyday needs. Accreditation cements our commitment to paying all our employees and contractors the real living wage as an absolute minimum.

Given that the core goal of our business is encouraging clients to make more sustainable choices, it seemed fitting to practice what we preach by subjecting our own practices to review. By doing this, we can be confident that we are operating responsibly and making decisions that are good for both our team and the environment.

By allowing our own business to be critiqued, we hope to emphasise the importance of the targets we help clients achieve – such as staying compliant with reporting requirements, achieving net zero and cutting Scope 3 emissions by implementing sustainable procurement practices.
