In addition to being committed to creating high-quality garments that prioritise customer safety, the businesses are also dedicated to sustainability, and are continually looking for ways to improve the green credentials across their operations.

The Challenge

As part of wider sustainability goals, the business owners wanted to address the entire supply chain – so they could accurately identify the areas and operations that required improvement.

Gathering and reporting on key emissions data such as Scopes 1,2 and 3 is a key part of this process. Manually tracking and collating these vital metrics is a challenge for any business, but it was complicated even further as this involved two organisations, each with their own suppliers and operations.

An automated solution was therefore required to track, collate and report on these essential metrics – and we had just the solution.

The Solution

After speaking with the team at ProGARM, we were able to identify which features of our software the business would derive the most value from.

We decided to provide them will a full service for data entry – supporting them every step of the way from the initial idea and discussion through to implementation. These metrics are now being automatically tracked by our software, providing up-to-date and accurate emissions data regarding the business’ sustainability performance.

The Results

Our software has equipped ProGARM and FlamePro with the crucial insights needed to make the right decisions to drive their sustainability strategy forwards.

Since tracking all three scope emissions, the business is now looking to improve its green credentials even further by turning its attention to traceability. AXIOM are working with them to improve traceability by getting clear visibility over the products and materials used in the manufacture of the specialist garments, right back to the original source.

As they make garments, they are also focussing on improving the social aspect of the ESG criteria – to ensure the fair treatment of workers involved in the manufacturing process, right through the supply chain. Using AXIOM, the companies are able to trace commodities, providing visibility and improving accountability right back to the source.
